Problem: BRITTLE/CRACKED NAILS

Brittle nails usually lack sheen and elasticity caused mostly by overexposure to water and contact with harsh household detergents. Cracked nails cause other problems, so make sure you remedy brittle nails.

Solution:

A daily application of nail strengthener cream applied to the nail base will increase the nails elasticity and suppleness by providing all the necessary nourishing elements to their roots. Additionally, applying cuticle oil to the cuticles (we adore Solar Oil from Creative!) will restore natural oils to insure a healthier nail.

Problem: WEAK/FRAGILE NAILS

A delicate nail chips or breaks with rough treatment. Soft weak toe nails often result from mineral and calcium deficiencies, lack of toe nail care, or overexposure to water and harsh cleaning products.

Solution:

Weak, fragile or delicate nails can benefit from a bi-weekly application of products containing protein fibres, which bonds weak nail layers together. Used in conjunction with nail thickener which thickens nails up to 50%, results will be noticeable within a few weeks. Additionally, nail care products like nail strengthening cream, massaged into the nail base, will stimulate healthy and vigorous growth. Always use acetone free nail polish remover (acetone and alcohol free) to remove any lacquer as it will not dry out your nails, just like the ones used by us!

Why nail polish is flaking ?

·  Nail surface has not been clean enough.

·  Consistency of nail polish is too thick. Add a few drops of THINNER before application and shake well the bottle.

·  Nail polish is applied in too thick coats.

·  The second coat has been applied before the first was completely dry.

·  For a perfect adherence of nail polish, flaking nails have to be treated before.

·  Always use a good base coat and then apply nail polish in two thin coats.

·  Protect nail polish with a coat of top coat.
